Well, the University of Utah is offering a scholarship for incoming students planning on getting a Film and Media Arts degree (this includes video games and animation as well)! That's amazing! Free money to help you pay for college!
And, we feel you guys at East Hollywood High are perfect for this!
The Deadline to apply is MARCH 14th, 2014.

They want you to have a GPA of a 3.5 or higher, so if you're grades are good, AWESOME! Good grade truly do render good rewards. But, that's not the only way to get the scholarship. If you're grades maybe aren't the best, you can submit a strong creative piece and some strong letters of recommendation (they must be from your film and animation teachers), you still have a great shot of getting a sweet, sweet scholarship! If the U of U is where you think you might want to go, even if it is just a maybe, get crackin' at applying to the school (Petra can help get you started in the applying process). You don't have to go there in the end, but even if you are considering it and you want to shoot for this scholarship, apply to the school so that if you get the scholarship you'll already be signed up and it won't go to waste, otherwise they'll pass it on to a student who has already been accepted into the school. And, you will cry.
