The Advanced Film Class 2020-21

Hey Manbears,

Despite the challenges we are facing with COVID we are happy to announce that the school will be producing several Advance Films this year! This is your time to shine! Will or Spencer will meet with you to discuss working on an Advanced Film during 4th-6th terms! It's okay if you're uncertain on what you want to do, please still interview! Same for if you don't have a crew in mind; we will be happy to work with you if we are invested in your project. Keep in mind that production may look different this year with COVID, but we'll be doing our best to work around it to get the best products we can.

If you are already coming to either the Sketch Comedy or Music Video Labs, we can interview you in person during those times if it's more convenient!

We'll be announcing which projects we'll be producing January 8th, 2021.

Telos 2020 Will Be LIVE STREAMED

The show must go on!

The 2020 Telos ceremony will be held on May 27th, 2020, 7:00pm-8:00pm. The location this year will be, well, your home, at 7pm.  We'll be live streaming the ceremony from East Hollywood High's Youtube page.

Nominations for 2020 Telos will be announced mid-May.

Telos, for some of you who are new, is a fun and exciting film competition we have at our school. Anything you've made in Will or Spencer's classes, or anything you've made on your own or with friends outside since April of last year you can submit!

You can also enter such exciting categories as:
-Screenwriting! (Did you write a screenplay in Spencer's class? Enter it)
-Film Essay! (Did you write a cool film paper during quarantine that you're particularly proud of?
Enter it)
-Documentaries! (Did you make a cool doc in Spencer's?)
-Animation! (Will knows some of you made cool animations in Stop Motion! And there are
projects some of you made in Sly's. Enter them!)
-Educational Films/Tutorials! (Did you ever make a cool video essay?)
